Begins with Mincha featuring tefilat geshem, the prayer for rain and the Yizkor memorial service.
We will share a light snack before celebrating, reading and rolling the Torah.

Sukkah Build
Join Israel Congregation in building the Sukkah! We need you! Volunteers are needed to assist in the assembly of our Sukkah. This is a perfect opportunity for students to do a service project. The only skill needed is a positive attitude and willingness to help.

Following dinner, please join us for a candle-lit collective reading and chanting of the Book of Lamentations in Hebrew (selections) and English. On this day we mark and mourn the downfall of the ancient Temples and other historical days of destruction for the Jewish people.

Together, we’ll honor the memory of those lost in the Holocaust through reflection, readings, and yahrzeit lighting as we commit to remembrance and resilience.
