Tamim Academy of Vermont Enrolling New Students
Tamim Academy of Vermont is part of a network of over 20 Jewish elementary schools for grades K-6 that have opened across the country since 2020. The curriculum is built by years of research from leading experts in elementary education.
Read Write Inc., thinkMath!, and the STEM Scopes, are some examples of the curricular programs that we use.
Using a progressive model, we blend Montessori, Reggio and 21st century practices to create the ultimate learning environment for every child to succeed. Our unique program offers an immersive Hebrew language program, led by native Israeli teachers, and encourages children to use this second language in natural settings. Our program is enriched by Jewish values and the children learn about Jewish traditions and celebrate the Jewish holidays in ways that are community oriented, interactive and hands-on.
One of the trademarks of Tamim here in Burlington is our focus on the outdoors and environmental appreciation. Throughout the Fall and Spring, younger students enjoy weekly visits to New Village Farm and the older students partake in an outdoor hiking and learning course. Through the winter months, we enjoy a school wide Skiing program where students partake in weekly lessons and spend time on the slopes at Bolton Valley Ski Resort.
Above all, Tamim Academy is committed to each and every child's growth and educational journey. Through our focus on social-emotional learning, friendships and community, we ensure that every child is celebrated and given the tools they need to flourish. Our school Support Services Liaison ensures that every child can receive state funded observations, evaluations and services.
We will be enrolling K-6th grade for the upcoming 2025-26 school year!
