Come to a special screening of Laemmle’s List at the Manchester Community Library.

Laemmle’s List.is a documentary that follows artist and educator Deborah Blum as she investigates the remarkable story of her relative, Carl Laemmle, founder of Universal Studios, who used his influence to help Jews escape Nazi Germany. Through newly discovered documents and conversations with descendants of families Laemmle helped, Blum uncovers a largely overlooked chapter of his life and legacy. The film also becomes a personal journey through family history, memory, and the enduring impact of one person’s efforts to save lives during the Holocaust.
