Friday-evening: Kirtan & community
Celebrate Shavuot—the festival of first fruits and the giving of Torah—with a special evening at Living Tree Alliance.
Following a hearty farm-cooked meal, we'll be joined by Shemot Shelah—Anna Sobel, Rabbi Jan Salzman, and friends—for an evening of Divine Feminine Kirtan, followed by a crystal-bowl sound bath with Noam Elfassi. Shavuot is a festival of revelation, and we'll open ourselves to it through ancient technologies of chanting and embodied practice, deepening our connection to Spirit, Earth, community, and self.
Want to make a weekend of it?
A full-event ticket includes, along with Friday night, all of the following:
Thursday evening (May 21): Potluck dinner and casual, community-hosted Shavuot learning
Friday morning (May 22): Community prayer and revelation experience in the field, followed by a festive potluck lunch
Saturday (May 23): Shavuot on the Mountain—our annual hike to Mt. Mansfield's Mountain Chapel for song, Torah, and celebration. (Note, if you purchase a full-event ticket, you do not need a separate ticket for Shavuot on the Mountain.)
Stay overnight and wake up on the farm! Our Guest Suite (a cozy one-bedroom apartment) as well as rooms in our Common House, are available to rent. Or pitch a tent on one of our tent platforms. Reserve your space here.
