OCTOBER 7 MEMORIAL & GATHERING (MIDDLEBURY COLLEGE)

Location: Jewish Center

Three years after the attack on October 7, we will come together to be in community as we remember those who were killed that day and in the war and hostage taking that followed. After a short ceremony of remembrance, we will hear from Hebrew Professor Michal Strier who will share her personal experience during the last three years as an Israeli who has family and friendship ties to kibbutzim which were attacked. Afterwards, there will be a chance to ask questions, and to reflect through art, writing, or speaking, on what we have lost in the past three years.
