Sunset Family Prayer & Song Service

  • RSVP for address in Southern Vermont (map)

Join a PJ Library family for a special Selichot service. Selichot means “forgiveness” and refers to special prayers said in the days leading up to the High Holidays, inviting us to reflect on the past year, seek forgiveness, and consider how we want to grow.

Pairing familiar melodies with these special prayers of forgiveness and reflection, we’ll explore the 13 Attributes of Mercy—the ancient words we return to again and again during this season to remind us of God’s compassion, patience, forgiveness, and love.

Through song, prayer, and conversation, we’ll consider what these qualities might teach us about how we forgive, how we repair, and how we want to enter Yom Kippur.
