"A Hidden Child's Holocaust Survival Story,
As Told by his Daughter"
11:30 am - Noon (Lunch)
Noon - 1 pm (Learn)
Ludwik "Louis" Pohoryles was born in 1937 in Lwow, Poland. He spent most of the war pretending to be a Polish child. By the end of the war, he was hiding in plain sight. Lou eventually settled in the Washington DC area to raise his three children and enjoy his seven grandchildren.
His daughter, Sharon Pohoryles, will share her father's survival story. Sharon will join us virtually from Chevy Chase, Maryland.
