Survey on Jewish Life in Vermont
A core value of Jewish Communities of Vermont, the statewide non-denominational organization supporting Jewish life in Vermont, is to "strengthen existing Jewish organizations and to encourage new outlets for Jewish expression, affiliation, education, communication, and practice for all Jewish Vermonters by encouraging connection and innovation." That is why we are encouraging you to take part in an important survey being conducted by Ohavi Zedek in Burlington as part of its long-range planning process.
Ohavi Zedek is looking not only at the future of its own congregation and campus, but also that of the historical and cultural collections is houses (click on the images below) and considering the broader question of what Jewish life in Vermont could and should look like in the years ahead.
We believe this is a conversation important to all of us.
Your perspective matters. Whether or not you belong to a synagogue, participate in Jewish life, or simply identify as Jewish, your voice is important.
The survey asks about your experience of Jewish life in Vermont today: what is working, what may be missing, where you feel connected or disconnected, and what kinds of opportunities, programs, and community you would like to see in the future.
Please take a few minutes to share your thoughts:

The survey is anonymous, takes less than 10 minutes, and will remain open through October 14.
JCVT will also be learning alongside OZ from what the broader Jewish community tells us. The more voices that participate, the better we can understand what Vermont Jews need and how we can work together to build a stronger, more connected Jewish community.
Thank you for adding your voice to this important conversation.
